Connection problems
Connecting an account is one round trip to the network and back; when it goes wrong, the cause is almost always on the network’s side of that trip - the kind of account, a permission, a token the network stopped honouring. This page lists the cases by symptom and by network, and what fixes each.
After connecting, nothing is listed

Approve the consent screen; the reason names what was declined. |
Expired
Section titled “Expired”The card says Expired; posts to the account wait. The network stopped accepting the token: it aged out, or you changed the password, enabled two-factor sign-in, or the network ran a security check-up. Reconnect replaces the token for the same account; queued posts are sent once it works. If the account expires again within days, the network is revoking sessions on its side - check its security settings for a pending review.
Disconnected (revoked)
Section titled “Disconnected (revoked)”The card says Disconnected: access was withdrawn on the network’s side - you removed Dropslate under the network’s connected apps, Meta’s deauthorize callback fired, or you clicked Disconnect here. Queued posts went back to draft. Reconnect to publish again; the account id, its groups and its history are kept.
Google says the app is unverified
Section titled “Google says the app is unverified”Expected until Google’s verification of the app completes. The screen offers to continue anyway; the permissions requested are the same, and Google shows this to every user of an app in that state. Choose to continue.
Meta says a permission is missing
Section titled “Meta says a permission is missing”At send time: instagram_permission_missing or facebook_permission_missing. Your role on the Page changed, or a permission was removed in Facebook’s Business integrations. Reconnect and approve every permission Meta lists; declining one leaves the account connected but unable to publish or read insights.
The plan’s account limit
Section titled “The plan’s account limit”quota_exceeded when connecting: Free includes 2 connected accounts across all networks, Creator 6, Studio 20, Agency 50. Disconnect an account you no longer publish to, or upgrade - Plans & pricing. Reconnecting an existing account never counts as a new one.
An agent sees no accounts
Section titled “An agent sees no accounts”dropslate_list_accounts returns an empty list while the dashboard shows accounts: the agent is connected to a different workspace. dropslate_whoami names the workspace; disconnect the agent in Settings → MCP and connect it again choosing the right workspace on the consent screen.
