Limits
What this is
Section titled “What this is”Two numbers gate the media library, all enforced server-side by the same QuotaService a post’s quota check goes through - never only in the dashboard.
By plan
Section titled “By plan”| Free | Creator | Studio | Agency | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Storage | 2 GB | 15 GB | 50 GB | 150 GB |
| Max file size | 500 MB | 2 GB | 4 GB | 4 GB |
On every plan, a published file’s bytes leave the server 72 hours after its post goes live and stop counting against storage - see Retention.
A network’s own file-size cap can be lower than your plan’s - YouTube accepts up to 256 GB, but Instagram video tops out at 1 GB regardless of plan. See the relevant platform page for the network’s own ceiling.
