Data deletion
What this is
Section titled “What this is”You can remove your data yourself, at any time, without contacting support. This page covers the self-service paths; the full policy (subprocessors, retention of backups, response times) is on the Privacy Policy and dropslate.top/security.
Disconnect one account
Section titled “Disconnect one account”Settings → Accounts → Disconnect. Deletes that account’s stored access token immediately and calls the network’s own revoke endpoint. Posts already published aren’t affected; posts still queued for that account are cancelled.
Delete your whole workspace
Section titled “Delete your whole workspace”Settings → Profile → Delete account. A confirmation link is emailed; opening it starts deletion of posts, media, connected-account tokens and personal data, completed within 30 days. A workspace with other members needs ownership transferred first - see Members & roles - so a shared workspace can’t be deleted out from under a team by one person leaving.
Data received through Meta (Facebook / Instagram) Login
Section titled “Data received through Meta (Facebook / Instagram) Login”Disconnecting an Instagram or Facebook account removes everything Meta shared with Dropslate for it, the same as any other network. If Meta’s own systems sent you here to request deletion tied to a login through one of their apps, email dpo@dropslate.top with the confirmation code Meta gave you; the outcome is confirmed by email within 30 days.
What “deleted” means
Section titled “What “deleted” means”Rows are removed from the database, not archived. A backup taken before deletion ages out of the backup rotation on its own schedule (30 days) rather than being edited after the fact - the same as any encrypted, immutable backup.
Common errors
Section titled “Common errors”| Error | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Can’t delete the workspace | Other members still belong to it. | Transfer ownership to someone continuing it, or remove the other members first. |
| Confirmation email didn’t arrive | Spam filtering, or a typo in the account’s email. | Check spam; otherwise email dpo@dropslate.top directly. |
